Who are you to ...
Who are you to define what Deaf is? So my hearing impaired husband, who can speak and works with hearing people is not "Deaf"? Do you think he thinks he belongs to the hearing world? Guess what? He doesn't belong to either! Where do you fit in? Many of my Deaf friends "tend" to use voice, does that mean they are no 100% Deaf? They use interpreters, but they can work and function without them too. You hate her? You are envious I think. Stop being so angry and start fighting for what is important.

I am in awe ...
I am in awe watching and "listening" to his incredible person. I have developed a certain kind of high respect for her. What an inspiration. When I first watched her on TV series with Mark Harmon I had wished to hear her talk. I didn't know then she that she was deaf. May she always be in good health to continue inspiring many more. Thank you ILOTV for the post.

I know the feeling. ...
I know the feeling. I am not deaf, but I have Cerebral Palsy, mostly confined to my lower extremities. I have a four year college degree, and when I go on interviews, they always ask me stuff like "Do you think you can handle the daily rigors of this job?" I am gonna be sitting down, but they are worried about my productivity and stuff and don't care that I am educated or smart or anything. They also say "Aren't you on disability?" like I am supposed to be satisfied with that or something.

I hate her. She is ...
I hate her. She is not "deaf" to deaf community because she tend to use voice. She don't use interpreter for a long time until many deaf people were angry and complain that she act like she belong to hearing world. She finally now use interpreter to show people that she is "100% DEAF".
